This advanced teaching and study program is intended for mental
health and other professionals who have an established personal
mindfulness practice and experience in teaching MBCT (Mindfulness-Based
Cognitive Therapy for Depression) and who have completed a five
day professional training in MBCT. It is also open to experienced
MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) teachers who have completed
training at the Center for Mindfulness. This week-long program fosters
sustained attentiveness to personal practice as well as emphasizes
the development of teaching skills around the implementation of
the MBCT program. Enrollment is by application, only: please contact
Susan Woods for more information. This activity is sponsored by the Massachusetts Psychological Association. Massachusetts Psychological Association is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Massachusetts Psychological Association maintains responsibility for this program and its content. 38.5 CEs available for social workers and psychologists.
